We are glad to present the catalogue of our 163th public auction https://elsen.bidinside.com/en/auc/21/auction-163/1/ that will take place on 6, 7 and 8 November 2025.
We will start on Thursday 6 November with the ancient Greek, Celtic, Roman and Byzantine coins, followed by the medieval coins, including an exceptional gold solidus of Louis the Pious https://elsen.bidinside.com/en/lot/40355/carolingiens-louis-le-pieux-814-840-av-/. On Friday 7 November we will present the Low Countries and Belgium, a selection of shipwreck coins and the first part of the modern coins. We will end on Saturday 8 November with the second part of the modern coins, the oriental coins, a collection of ancient Chinese and Far Eastern coins, the jetons, medals and orders. This sale also features a collection of maritime-themed coins from all periods.
Pre-sale bidding will be closed on Wednesday 5 November 4 pm CET. Online bidding service is available on elsen.bidinside.com. If you intend to use it, please register at the latest by Tuesday 4 November. The users accounts of the former auctions remain active.
The auction lots may be viewed at our office from 6 October to 5 November, by appointment only.
