Dear Collectors,
We are delighted to present the catalogue of our 166th public auction that will take place on the 5th, 6th and 7th of November 2026.
We are particularly honoured to present the Guido Cornelissens collection. It is undoubtedly the finest private collection of early Medieval coins minted in Belgium, the Netherlands and neighboring regions. Assembled over more than 25 years, this collection includes numerous extremely rare or unique coins that very seldom appear at public auction. The sale will continue with ancient and medieval coins, coins from the Southern Netherlands and the kingdom of Belgium, modern and oriental coins, medals, orders and numismatic books.
Pre-sale bidding will be closed on Wednesday 4 November 5 pm CET. Online bidding service is available on elsen.bidinside.com. If you intend to use it, please register at the latest by Tuesday 3 November. The user accounts created for previous auctions remain active.
We are now preparing our next auctions. Our experts are available at your service to estimate your coins and medals. Please feel free to contact us for any information regarding valuation or consignment, by telephone or email (info@elsen.be)
